As a stylist and costume designer, Sara uses clothing as a visual medium to tell a story. Her specialty lies in determining why a character wears what they wear, and how that can impact and further a narrative.

Born in the Bay Area, Sara moved to a small town in the Sierra Nevada Foothills when she was a teenager. Finding herself in rural surroundings, she spent most of her free time swimming in the American River and combing through thrift stores. She carried her love of vintage and upcycled fashion into her life in Los Angeles, where she has worked in costuming departments for Netflix, Hulu, and CW’s “Family Affair” (featuring Brandon Leake).
